Friends: it is with absolute joy that I invite you to join me for 7 days, 6 nights in one of the most stunning locations on our sweet little planet: Puglia, Italy. A week-long retreat on the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea to soak up daily yoga, healing ritual, incredible community, beautiful day trips, and (most important) La Dolce Vita.
Imagine waking up slowly with the sun on our private Italian villa in the southern countryside; practicing yummy, heart expanding yoga each morning in the beautiful shala in a traditional trullo; eating unbelievable meals from delicious fresh produce that are made with love and devotion by local Italian chefs (who each own their own restaurants!); spending the day lounging by our private pool or taking day trips to the sparkling beaches, ancient towns, beautiful vineyards, and olive groves; finishing the evening with healing ceremonies and nourishing restorative practices; and laughing into the night over local wine with beautiful community that lasts a lifetime.
A PERSONAL NOTE: It may come as a total shock to some, BUT I’m Italian (surprise!). When I first visited Italy, I felt a deep sense of “home” in my bones. Each time I’ve been lucky enough to wander different parts of the country, I have returned with a little bit more sense of beauty, inspiration, and wholeness. I have been wanting to bring our annual NOURISH retreat community to these luscious lands for some time, and I’m beyond excited to host at the wonderful YogApulia.
At the end of 2022, while holding ceremony, I heard a distinct and clear voice: “NOURISH YOUR COMMUNITY”. It’s my greatest privilege to create nurturing spaces and sweet communities that allow you to show up exactly how you are to breathe, to remember, to come home to yourself, and to be surrounded by incredible people.

YogApulia is a true boutique gem. Situated in the Valle d’Itria of Puglia and filled with olive and almond trees, the newly renovated centre is intimate and luxurious. YogApulia is run by Mark and Nicola, and their kindness and warmth made me convinced there is no sweeter space for a yoga retreat in all of Italy. There are 7 rooms, all in the unique and beautiful Trulli, ancient stone buildings with conical roofs that make you feel like you’re in a fairy tale. Each room has two twin beds and its own private bathroom.
Because of the intimate nature of YogApulia, there are only 13 spaces/beds available!

A final note:
Each year, I gather all my favorite people together from around the world for a NOURISH retreat.
It’s a dream come true to bring everyone this year in Italy, the land of pleasure and sweetness.
This retreat will be, of course, chock full of all the Sam goodness- unbelievably rich yoga classes, healing restorative+yin practices, spiritual ceremony, mystical song+sound, and the best community on the whole damn planet.
It will also be full of pleasure, of wander and wonder, of soaking up each rich, simple, full moment of beauty.
In a world of burnout, I can think of no better anecdote than “La Dolce Vita”- the freakin’ sweet, sweet life, friends.
